2004:  First recipient, annual Doris Foster Memorial Award for contributions to Domestic Violence awareness, training, and treatment, given by Alternatives to Violence (Red Bluff).

2002-on: Conservative-side of daily short debate, Point-Counterpoint, airing thrice daily on KQMS (Redding) 1400 AM at 6:50, 7:50, 11:50 a.m. (Redding attorney Dugan Barr is the bad guy).

1997-98-01: Tehama County Child Abuse Prevention Council; Good News Rescue Mission (Red Bluff) Advisory Board; monthly guest, Ch. 7 (Redding) Monday noon news.

1996-on: weekly columnist, the Tehama Trader Plus (advertising newspaper for the county)

1994-01: Talk-show host of Conversations from Rural America on KBLF (Red Bluff), 1490 AM, at 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays.

1994-on: Primary office in Red Bluff since 4/91 (ancillary San Francisco office ended 3/95). General psychology practice with adults, adolescents, children, & families, with subspecialities of family therapy, body therapy (Reich), post-traumatic stress treatment of victims of crime, and chronic pain-management psychotherapy; consultation to doctors, clergy, & attorneys; forensic (legal) psychology; consultant to adolescent group homes. Certified Parent Effectiveness Trainer.

1967-68: Final year of Graduate School (begun in 1964); 2-day/week practicum at a state psychiatric hospital; prior practicum placements included a hospital for the retarded, a university hospital psychiatry department, and the V.A. Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Salem, Virginia.
